Warranty Policy
Last Updated: August 19, 2026
At Luzvera Automotive, we take pride in performing our headlight restoration services using professional equipment, quality products, careful workmanship, and our standardized LARS™ (Luzvera Automotive Restoration System™).
Our goal is not only to improve the appearance and clarity of your headlights, but also to provide customers with clear expectations regarding the protection included with each service package.
This Warranty Policy explains which LARS™ packages include warranty coverage, what is covered, what is excluded, and how warranty concerns are handled.
Warranty Coverage by Package
Warranty coverage depends on the LARS™ package purchased.
LARS™ Essential — No Included Warranty
The LARS™ Essential package is our entry-level restoration service and does not include a long-term warranty.
The service will be completed using the applicable LARS™ procedures and is still subject to our commitment to professional workmanship at the time the service is performed.
The absence of a long-term warranty does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
LARS™ Signature — 12-Month Limited Warranty
The LARS™ Signature package includes a 12-month limited warranty beginning on the date the service is completed.
This warranty applies to qualifying premature deterioration caused by defects in our workmanship or failure of the protective treatment resulting from improper application by Luzvera Automotive.
LARS™ Elite — 24-Month Limited Warranty
The LARS™ Elite package includes a 24-month limited warranty beginning on the date the service is completed.
This warranty applies to qualifying premature deterioration caused by defects in our workmanship and qualifying application or installation defects involving the protective coating or protective film included with the service.
The Elite warranty does not guarantee that protective film, coatings, or the underlying headlight will remain completely free from wear, impacts, chips, scratches, staining, discoloration, environmental deterioration, or other physical damage throughout the warranty period.
What Is Covered
Subject to inspection and the terms of this Warranty Policy, qualifying Signature and Elite warranty coverage may include:
-
Premature yellowing attributable to failure of our restoration workmanship or protective treatment
-
Premature exterior hazing attributable to covered workmanship
-
Premature exterior oxidation attributable to covered workmanship or protective-treatment failure
-
Peeling, abnormal coating failure, or other qualifying application defects
-
Uneven or defective application resulting from our workmanship
-
Other restoration defects determined by Luzvera Automotive to have resulted from the original service
For LARS™ Elite services, coverage may also include qualifying protective-film installation defects such as:
-
Premature lifting attributable to installation workmanship
-
Significant bubbling attributable to installation workmanship
-
Improper adhesion attributable to installation workmanship
-
Installation defects materially affecting the appearance or intended protection of the film
Warranty coverage applies only where the condition is reasonably determined to have resulted from Luzvera Automotive's workmanship or application of the covered protective product.
What Is Not Covered
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage, deterioration, or conditions outside Luzvera Automotive's reasonable control, including but not limited to:
-
Rock or stone chips
-
Road debris or impacts
-
Scratches or abrasion occurring after service
-
Vehicle collisions
-
Cracked, chipped, crazed, or broken lenses
-
Moisture or condensation inside the headlight
-
Water intrusion
-
Internal haze or lens deterioration
-
Internal discoloration
-
Damage to reflectors or internal components
-
Existing damage present before restoration
-
Manufacturing or material defects
-
Previous repairs or restoration work
-
Damage caused by harsh chemicals, solvents, or inappropriate cleaners
-
Damage caused by improper washing or maintenance
-
Damage caused by pressure washing at an unsafe distance or pressure
-
Deliberate removal, picking, peeling, cutting, or alteration of protective film
-
Vandalism
-
Fire
-
Flooding
-
Extreme environmental events
-
Accidents or impacts
-
Modifications, restoration, polishing, sanding, coating, film work, or repairs performed on the restored area by another person or business
-
Failure to follow applicable aftercare instructions
Normal wear and gradual deterioration resulting from age, mileage, vehicle use, UV exposure, weather, road conditions, environmental contaminants, and other ordinary operating conditions are not considered defects in workmanship.
Restoration Expectations
Headlight restoration improves an existing headlight lens; it does not replace the headlight assembly with a new component.
Restoration cannot correct every form of deterioration or damage.
Following restoration, some headlights may continue to display conditions such as:
-
Internal haze
-
Surface pitting
-
Stone chips
-
Deep scratches
-
Cracks or crazing
-
Internal discoloration
-
Internal moisture
-
Deterioration within the lens material
-
Damage to internal reflectors or components
-
Other pre-existing physical or material defects
These conditions are not considered warranty failures where they were not caused by Luzvera Automotive's workmanship.
Please refer to our Service Disclaimer for additional information regarding restoration limitations and expected results.
Protective Coatings & Film
Protective coatings and films are intended to improve resistance to UV exposure and environmental deterioration, but no protective product can make a headlight permanently resistant to aging, weather, impacts, road debris, chemicals, or physical damage.
Warranty duration should not be interpreted as a guarantee of the exact lifespan of a coating, film, or restored headlight.
Actual longevity depends on factors including vehicle storage, climate, UV exposure, mileage, washing practices, road conditions, environmental exposure, maintenance, and the original condition of the headlight.
Protective film included with a qualifying Elite service is a sacrificial protective layer. Physical damage to the film caused by road debris, impacts, scratches, chemicals, misuse, or other external forces is not considered an installation defect.
Maintenance & Aftercare
Customers are responsible for following reasonable aftercare and maintenance instructions provided by Luzvera Automotive.
Depending on the products applied, customers may be instructed to avoid washing, chemicals, abrasion, moisture, or other exposure for a specified period following service.
Improper maintenance or failure to follow material aftercare instructions may affect warranty coverage where the resulting damage or failure is connected to that improper care.
Customer Satisfaction & Workmanship Concerns
If you believe there is a problem with your restoration, please contact Luzvera Automotive as soon as reasonably possible.
We want legitimate service concerns resolved properly and will make reasonable efforts to assess any reported workmanship issue.
A customer's preference regarding the final appearance, by itself, does not establish a warranty defect.
Where a concern relates to our workmanship and can reasonably be corrected, Luzvera Automotive will generally seek to correct the affected area rather than immediately issue a refund.
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim:
-
Contact Luzvera Automotive using the contact information below.
-
Provide your name, vehicle information, and approximate service date.
-
If available, provide your invoice number or other proof of service.
-
Provide clear photographs showing the affected headlight(s) and reported issue.
-
Provide any additional information reasonably necessary for us to assess the concern.
Luzvera Automotive reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and affected headlights in person before determining warranty eligibility.
Customers must provide us with a reasonable opportunity to inspect and assess the reported condition before having another person or business perform corrective restoration, sanding, polishing, coating, film removal, or similar work on the affected area.
Unauthorized work performed on the affected area before we have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect it may affect warranty coverage where that work prevents us from determining the cause of the reported failure.
Warranty Determination
Warranty claims are assessed based on the condition of the headlight, service records, photographs where available, package purchased, maintenance history, nature of the reported failure, and any other relevant circumstances.
The existence of yellowing, hazing, oxidation, film damage, or another condition during the warranty period does not automatically establish that the condition is covered.
Coverage applies where the issue is reasonably determined to fall within the terms of this Warranty Policy.
Remedy
If a warranty claim is approved, Luzvera Automotive will provide an appropriate remedy based on the nature of the covered issue.
Where reasonably possible, our primary remedy will be to:
-
Correct the affected workmanship
-
Reperform the affected portion of the restoration
-
Reapply a qualifying protective treatment
-
Correct or replace an affected section of protective film where covered under the Elite warranty
Approved warranty corrective work will be performed at no additional charge for the covered issue.
Luzvera Automotive must be provided a reasonable opportunity to perform an appropriate corrective service before a refund or alternative remedy is considered.
Refunds are not automatically provided because a customer is dissatisfied with the appearance of a restoration or because a warranty claim has been submitted.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy restricts any refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy that a customer is legally entitled to under applicable law.
Warranty Period
Warranty periods begin on the original date the qualifying service is completed.
Corrective warranty work does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless Luzvera Automotive expressly agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
The applicable warranty therefore expires:
-
LARS™ Essential — No included long-term warranty
-
LARS™ Signature — 12 months from the original service date
-
LARS™ Elite — 24 months from the original service date
Proof of Service
Customers should retain their invoice, receipt, LARS™ Restoration Quality Checklist, or other service documentation.
Luzvera Automotive may also maintain service records that can be used to verify the package purchased and original service date.
Transferability
Any included warranty applies to the original customer and vehicle for which the qualifying service was purchased.
The warranty is not transferable to a subsequent vehicle owner unless Luzvera Automotive agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Luzvera Automotive's liability under this Warranty Policy shall not exceed the amount originally paid for the affected restoration service.
Luzvera Automotive is not responsible under this Warranty Policy for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from conditions outside the scope of the warranty.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any right, remedy, warranty, representation, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection or other law.
Relationship to Other Policies
This Warranty Policy should be read together with Luzvera Automotive's Terms & Conditions and Service Disclaimer.
The service package purchased, applicable LARS™ procedures, documented pre-service condition, service records, aftercare instructions, and these policies may be considered when assessing a warranty claim.
Changes to This Warranty Policy
Luzvera Automotive may update this Warranty Policy periodically as our services, products, LARS™ procedures, or business practices evolve.
Any changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. The warranty terms applicable to a qualifying service will generally be those in effect when that service was purchased, subject to applicable law.
